Tony
I’ve had a passion for swimming and coaching most of my life. I joined lifesaving and pool competitions at the age of 6. I started coaching and teaching at 17 whilst still competing. For the last 20 years I’ve been managing Council facility pools, teaching many children to swim. Throughout this time, I have been lucky enough to have taught and coached hundreds of students. As a result, I was afforded a spot as a coach on the Queensland and Australian Junior swim squads. Beyond thankful, is how I feel about the staff and patrons that attend this centre. We all work towards the common goal of teaching the children to swim in a comfortable, relaxed and fun environment.

Eva
I am in year 11 at Sunshine Coast Grammar School and when I leave school I hope to study Midwifery/Nursing as well as I hope to pursue a sporting career.
I love all my sports but my favourite is my Surf Life Saving where I train near 10 times a week. I am an active member of the Metropolitan Surf Club (Kings Beach).
Fun fact, I have 4 brothers and I learnt how to swim here at Moffat Beach Swim School.

Swim Instructor
Shari
My name is Shari, I am currently completing my senior education at Unity college, when I leave school, l hope to join the Police force.
I have been doing surf lifesaving/nippers at Metropolitan Caloundra for the past 10 years and I still continue to swim myself.
I have a passion towards teaching the children how to swim as I still remember from today on who my swim teacher is. I want the children to remember me as a fun teacher but also a teacher who works them hard. A fun fact about me is I made it to states for pool swimming myself and butterfly is my favourite stroke.

Swim Instructor
Georgie
Hello! My name is Georgie and I am in Year 11 at Kawana Waters State College. I’ve been a member of Dicky Beach Surf Club since I was 6 years old and am aiming to become the youth development officer there in the future. My aim in swim teaching is to get kids to love and enjoy the water instead of being afraid of it. Fun fact about me is that I used to hate swimming when i was younger but now it is one of my favourite things to do.

Swim Instructor
Sophie
My name is Sophie and I am currently in my last year of school at Sunshine Coast Grammar. When I graduate school I hope to be studying medicine. I have been doing Surf Life Saving for 13 years and I still currently still do surf life saving. I have a great passion for teaching younger children how to swim as I think it is very important to know how to swim. I would love the children to know me as a fun and enthusiastic teacher but also a teacher who makes them work. Fun fact about myself is that butterfly is my favourite stroke!
